Aftermarket Sales Manager - Western & Midwestern United States

Job Description

Our client is seeking an Aftermarket Sales Manager to drive sales and business development across a defined U.S. territory, with a focus on rotating equipment and industrial service solutions. This role combines technical expertise with commercial strategy, supporting customers across oil & gas, chemical, and petrochemical sectors.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored service and aftermarket solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales and business development activities across assigned territories

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while expanding market share

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and pipeline initiatives with measurable revenue impact

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, quotations, and technical solutions

  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing technical support and solution guidance

  • Support project execution and ensure alignment with contractual requirements

  • Contribute to business growth initiatives and market expansion efforts

  • Assist with troubleshooting, data collection, and root cause analysis as required

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reporting, and updates on pipeline activity

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, technical advisory, or commercial roles within rotating equipment or turbomachinery environments

  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, and turbines

  • Experience working within oil & gas, chemical, or petrochemical industries

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation including P&IDs, PFDs, and engineering specifications

  • Strong relationship-building skills with experience managing and growing customer accounts

  • Proven ability to develop new business and expand market presence

  • Strong communication skills and a self-driven, entrepreneurial approach

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
