B2B Territory Sales Manager (Pacific Northwest)
Job Description
Our client, a leading Canadian manufacturer with over 70 years of industry leadership, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across BC, Washington, and Oregon.
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a high-impact, field-based sales role focused on expanding market share while strengthening relationships with an established customer base. You’ll work closely with marketing, customer service, and leadership teams to execute strategic sales initiatives across a well-established and high-performing territory.
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Account Management
Manage and grow a portfolio of distributors, dealers, and key accounts across the territory (BC/Washington/Oregon).
Focus on new business development, including prospecting, cold outreach, and identifying new sales opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with building supply groups, roofing distributors, window and door companies, and glazing dealers.
Sales Execution
Develop and execute territory sales plans to drive revenue and market share growth.
Prioritize opportunities and expand the dealer network.
Present and implement marketing, merchandising, and promotional programs.
Customer Engagement & Training
Deliver product knowledge training to customers in both formal and informal settings.
Represent the company at trade shows, contractor events, and industry functions.
Reporting & Market Insights
Provide regular sales updates including customer activity, follow-ups, and competitive insights.
Track performance and maintain accurate records using CRM tools.
Requirements
University Degree / College Diploma preferred
5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within building or roofing materials or construction-related industries.
Proven success in territory sales and new business development.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence a range of stakeholders.
Self-starter with excellent time management and territory planning abilities.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a driven, competitive edge.
Ability to learn quickly, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport in a variety of settings.
Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, driven, and one who enjoys a challenge. You are currently your company's sales leader!
Excellent written and verbal communication and in-person presentation skills.
You like to win and have a great sense of humour!
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Must be willing to be in the field, with the ability to travel a minimum of 4-6 nights per month.
Valid passport to travel to and from the US.
