Controller – U.S. Operations - Remote (North America)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations across two U.S. entities within a high-growth, publicly listed environment. This role offers the opportunity to build and refine financial processes while working closely with senior leadership.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting the continued growth of a dynamic organization. Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle accounting and deliver timely, accurate financial statements

• Drive an efficient close process and ensure audit-ready operations

• Oversee core accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, expenses, and inventory

• Design and implement scalable processes and internal controls

• Partner cross-functionally to provide financial insights and support operational decision-making

• Support external audits and ensure compliance with reporting requirements

• Optimize financial systems and workflows to improve reporting efficiency

Requirements

• Experience in hands-on accounting and controllership within high-growth or evolving environments

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process improvement

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and changing business environment

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly

• CPA designation considered an asset

• Experience with U.S. multi-entity structures or inventory accounting is an asset
