CPA Professional
Job Description
Catch Recruitment is seeking a CPA professional for our client in Castlegar, BC. The CPA Professional is the public face of the practice and they are responsible for providing excellent service to existing and potential clients, for growing the client base and maintaining quality in the work of the firm in compliance with the standards of the profession. The preferred candidate will provide strong leadership and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities:
Managing $500,000+ of revenue (between 100 to 200 private enterprise clients)
Run client release meetings
Deliver review, NTRs and compilation files, while developing and providing business advisory services
Supervise file intake
Develop and maintain personal client book of business
Partner file review and quality control
Manage projects
Prepare tax planning/memos/strategy
Assist with the design and implementation of marketing plans
Identify new service opportunities – firm wide and client specific
Report on accountabilities
Mentor technical staff and other team members and supervise technical & administrative staff
Generate leads and convert leads
Engage in professional development - accounting, marketing and leadership focused
Use and participate in development of the enterprise’s centralized production and
administrative systems
Requirements
A university degree in business, arts or science
You have or are very close to obtaining a CPA professional designation
Have personal and corporate tax knowledge
Have completed year end file reviews
Have experience with industry specific software (such as Caseware Working Papers)
Excellent Microsoft office skills
Excellent client nurturing/meeting skills
Experience running team and client meetings
Have the ability and desire to comply with and constantly improve existing systems and
processes
Compensation: Depending on experience, $80,000 to $90,000 with a strong bonus potential.
