Outside Technical Sales Representative
Job Description
Our client is a seeking a full-time Aftermarket Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for promoting, maintaining, and developing their market area to increase profitability by promoting the sales of their rotating equipment solutions to new and existing customers. This role will be expected to maintain an extensive presence and actively seek new sales opportunities with clients within BC. Our client focuses on serving customers in the oil & gas, municipal, fire, mining and general industrial. Compensation is 105K (based on experience; base pay and commissions make up the total compensation package)
Responsibilities:
Promoting the company’s products and repair services through sound and ethical business practices as related to the customers and the public.
Gathering competitive information and other market information regularly.
Identifying and growing business opportunities with new customers to meet and exceed sales targets.
Answering client queries and identifying new business opportunities among existing customers
Developing trusted relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders to ensure they are up-to-date and aware of company’s scope of products.
Monitoring operations in their area to ensure that client needs are being appropriately met.
Forecasting and tracking key account metrics .
Managing account information and opportunities through Salesforce.
Preparing and presenting proposals and quotes.
Project reviews, lookbacks & evaluation of new technology
Cross functional review of well design to ensure full life cycle needs are being met
Development planning through communication with asset teams to effectively design, plan
and budget projects.
Hustles to find a solution; willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
Always ready to go the extra mile for their clients. Deeply understands the goals, drivers and needs of others.
Requirements
5 years or more working directly with rotating equipment repairs, sales or equivalent experience.
Solid expertise and demonstrated knowledge in conventional, upstream/midstream and Industrial Sales.
Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels internally and externally.
Solid understanding with analytical skills of technical documents.
Positive attitude with a can-do at personality.
Must be trustworthy.
