Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description

Our client, a boutique wine import agency, is actively seeking a full time Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in North Vancouver. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Supply Chain Coordinator will be a specialist in logistics, supply chain, compliance, and warehousing. The person in this role will also be providing timely support and information to the sales team, as well as ensuring administrative tasks are completed with excellent customer service and attention to detail.

Business hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. Most of the time worked will need to be during business hours, but the schedule is flexible.Working remotely is an option (up to 2 days per week). Full time in office will be necessary in the first 3 months for adequate training to take place.will be $60-70K based on credentials and prior experience along with a strong compensation plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Booking freight with appropriate logistics providers.

  • Ensuring smooth flow of goods from origin to the local warehouse. et teams, etc

  • Managing inventory at bonded warehouses.

  • Processing BCLDB POs and Connect Logistics ASNs.

  • Registering new wines with provincial liquor boards.

  • Managing product re-activations of wine with provincial liquor boards.

  • Processing product change forms and pricing changes.

  • Doing deliveries for our Wine Club.

  • Assisting with sample locker inventory counts.

Requirements

  • A good understanding of supply chain management and experience in the logistics field .

  • Experience in the wine industry is an asset. Strong project management skills.

  • Basic wine knowledge or interest in wine.

  • Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma is an asset.

  • Proficiency in Mac iWork Suite or MS Office.

  • High attention to detail, problem solving, and logical thinking.

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

  • Proactive self-starter who can manage workload independently and prioritize effectively.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers who are most often do not have English as their primary language.

  • Ability to travel locally when required.

  • Cell phone (allowance provided)

  • Valid Drivers License and Vehicle.
