Inventory Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Entry-Level Inventory Coordinator to support our clients’ inside sales and operations team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities and product details against purchase orders

  • Update and maintain inventory records within the company’s inventory management system

  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits, identifying and reporting discrepancies

  • Monitor stock levels and flag slow-moving, expired, or damaged inventory to supervisors

  • Follow established inventory control procedures and safety protocols

  • Collaborate with storage yards, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow across the supply chain

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is considered an asset (not required)

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)

  • Experience with Business Central is an asset

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical aptitude

  • Willingness to learn inventory control processes, safety procedures, and company policies

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and escalate discrepancies

  • Ability to follow directions while working both independently and collaboratively

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
