Job Description

The Sales Representative will play a key role in driving business growth through proactive outreach, new client acquisition, and the development of long-standing customer relationships. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions. Success in this position requires strong relationship-building skills, business acumen, and a strategic approach to revenue growth.

The ideal candidate brings experience in industrial, electrical, automation, or technical solutions sales and is comfortable managing a diverse client portfolio. This position requires a blend of initiative, professionalism, and the ability to navigate complex environments with confidence and clarity.

Responsibilities:

  • Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or a related field; equivalent industry experience will be considered

  • Minimum five years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (experience as a technologist, electrician, or engineer may substitute)

  • Proven experience generating new business and retaining key accounts

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, foster relationships, and deliver exceptional service

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents

  • Experience preparing proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials

  • Proficiency using CRM platforms for pipeline and customer management

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region (up to 50%)

  • Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
