Job Description
The Sales Representative will play a key role in driving business growth through proactive outreach, new client acquisition, and the development of long-standing customer relationships. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions. Success in this position requires strong relationship-building skills, business acumen, and a strategic approach to revenue growth.
The ideal candidate brings experience in industrial, electrical, automation, or technical solutions sales and is comfortable managing a diverse client portfolio. This position requires a blend of initiative, professionalism, and the ability to navigate complex environments with confidence and clarity.
Responsibilities:
Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or a related field; equivalent industry experience will be considered
Minimum five years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (experience as a technologist, electrician, or engineer may substitute)
Proven experience generating new business and retaining key accounts
Demonstrated ability to build trust, foster relationships, and deliver exceptional service
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents
Experience preparing proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials
Proficiency using CRM platforms for pipeline and customer management
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel within the assigned region (up to 50%)
Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
