Environmental Project Manager – Vancouver, BC

Job Description

We’re working with a respected environmental consultancy to hire an Environmental Project Manager in Vancouver. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone looking to grow their project management career while contributing to diverse, meaningful environmental projects across the province.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of scientists and technical experts, managing projects from start to finish, supporting client engagement, and mentoring junior professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate environmental projects with a focus on timely, on-budget delivery

  • Prepare proposals, work plans, budgets, and technical reports

  • Engage with clients, regulators, contractors, and Indigenous communities

  • Track project performance and ensure quality and safety standards are met

  • Support business development activities and client relationship management

  • Contribute technical expertise to multi-disciplinary teams

  • Mentor and guide junior staff in project execution and reporting

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in environmental science, biology, ecology, agrology, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or project management

  • Understanding of federal and provincial environmental regulations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with budgeting, scope management, and client relations

  • Professional designation (e.g., R.P.Bio., P.Ag., P.Eng.) or eligibility is preferred

  • Collaborative team mindset and the ability to work across disciplines

  • Valid Canadian driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites

$36 - $57 an hour
