Environmental Project Manager – Vancouver, BC
Job Description
We’re working with a respected environmental consultancy to hire an Environmental Project Manager in Vancouver. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone looking to grow their project management career while contributing to diverse, meaningful environmental projects across the province.
You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of scientists and technical experts, managing projects from start to finish, supporting client engagement, and mentoring junior professionals.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate environmental projects with a focus on timely, on-budget delivery
Prepare proposals, work plans, budgets, and technical reports
Engage with clients, regulators, contractors, and Indigenous communities
Track project performance and ensure quality and safety standards are met
Support business development activities and client relationship management
Contribute technical expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
Mentor and guide junior staff in project execution and reporting
Requirements
Degree or diploma in environmental science, biology, ecology, agrology, or related field
3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or project management
Understanding of federal and provincial environmental regulations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with budgeting, scope management, and client relations
Professional designation (e.g., R.P.Bio., P.Ag., P.Eng.) or eligibility is preferred
Collaborative team mindset and the ability to work across disciplines
Valid Canadian driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites
$36 - $57 an hour
