Environmental Project Manager – Prince George, BC

Job Description

A leading environmental firm is seeking a skilled Environmental Project Manager to join their Prince George office. If you’re passionate about environmental stewardship and eager to grow in a dynamic consulting environment, this could be the perfect fit.

You’ll play a key role in managing complex environmental projects, fostering client partnerships, and mentoring team members—all while working in one of BC’s most naturally beautiful regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage environmental projects from planning through execution and reporting

  • Oversee deliverables, budgets, timelines, and team performance

  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulators

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members

  • Write and review technical documents, cost estimates, and project proposals

  • Contribute to business development and regional strategy

  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are upheld

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant environmental discipline

  • 3–5 years of experience managing environmental or natural resource projects

  • Familiarity with BC and federal environmental legislation and permitting

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Project management experience (budgets, tracking, scope control)

  • Designation or eligibility with a professional governing body is preferred

  • Ability to work collaboratively and travel as required

  • Valid driver's license and comfort navigating remote field settings

$36 - $57 an hour
