Job Description
A leading environmental firm is seeking a skilled Environmental Project Manager to join their Prince George office. If you’re passionate about environmental stewardship and eager to grow in a dynamic consulting environment, this could be the perfect fit.
You’ll play a key role in managing complex environmental projects, fostering client partnerships, and mentoring team members—all while working in one of BC’s most naturally beautiful regions.
Responsibilities:
Manage environmental projects from planning through execution and reporting
Oversee deliverables, budgets, timelines, and team performance
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulators
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
Write and review technical documents, cost estimates, and project proposals
Contribute to business development and regional strategy
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are upheld
Requirements
Post-secondary education in a relevant environmental discipline
3–5 years of experience managing environmental or natural resource projects
Familiarity with BC and federal environmental legislation and permitting
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Project management experience (budgets, tracking, scope control)
Designation or eligibility with a professional governing body is preferred
Ability to work collaboratively and travel as required
Valid driver's license and comfort navigating remote field settings
$36 - $57 an hour
