Human Resources Advisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to work closely with assigned client groups to provide guidance and support across a range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and organizational development.
Responsibilities:
Lead the full cycle of talent management, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
Assist in implementing talent development programs, including goal setting, succession planning, performance evaluations, and development initiatives.
Advise and support managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with the compensation specialist to assess and deliver compensation programs.
Contribute to the development and execution of HR projects and initiatives, including organizational change, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion.
Support HR programs and initiatives at the enterprise level and ensure consistent application across the organization.
Regularly gather feedback from client groups to ensure HR programs and services are aligned with business needs.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of proven HR advisory experience or in a similar HR role.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
CPHR designation (or actively working toward it) is considered an asset.
Hands-on experience in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, policy interpretation, and HR compliance.
Experience supporting organizational change and engagement initiatives.
Proficiency in HRIS platforms; experience with Workday is an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
