Litigation Legal Assistant

The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide high-level administrative and legal support to lawyers within the Litigation group. This role requires an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily administrative activities, including calendar and email management, scheduling, and travel coordination.
Prepare, revise, and format correspondence and legal documents from dictation, instructions, or precedents.
Maintain an organized bring-forward system, ensuring deadlines and court timelines are met.
Coordinate and file court documents electronically and in person when required.
Liaise with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel professionally and efficiently.
Assist with monthly billing, docket entry, and expense processing.
Maintain physical and electronic filing systems in compliance with firm standards.
Provide back-up support to other assistants and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, with at least 1 year in Litigation.
Completion of a recognized Legal Assistant Diploma or Certificate program.
Strong understanding of civil and commercial litigation procedures and court processes.
Proficiency with MS Office 365, iManage DMS, and Adobe Pro.
Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment with accuracy and professionalism.
Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive work ethic with strong attention to detail.
