Key Account Manager - Convenience & Gas

With an ambitious goal to double sales over the next five years, they are seeking a driven and commercially minded Key Account Manager to support national growth across multiple channels with a focus on the convenience and gas sector in Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow Grocery, Convenience, and Wholesale accounts nationally.

  • Drive sales and revenue growth by executing strategic account plans.

  • Optimize product listings to enhance consumer experience and increase sell-through.

  • Develop, execute, and measure promotional programs and sales initiatives.

  • Manage account budgets, forecasts, and volume planning in collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain teams.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer performance to identify new opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations.

  • Lead and deliver Joint Customer Business Plans (JCBPs).

  • Partner closely with the Sales Director to develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a related sales or account management role within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience leading and growing convenience, grocery, and wholesale customer relationships at the head office level.

  • Entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Ability and desire to work in a lean, fast-paced environment.

  • High level of organization and attention to detail in managing multiple accounts and priorities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for customer meetings and store visits.

  • Travel requirement up to 10% for annual trade shows.

    Location: Langley, BC (Hybrid work model)

    Salary: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually
