Collaborate with OEMs and international vendors to evaluate equipment options and bring insights into design and procurement decisions.
Review and manage all mechanical engineering deliverables: specifications, drawings, datasheets, and compliance documents.
Work cross-functionally with electrical, civil, process, and instrumentation teams to ensure fully integrated solutions.
Participate in technical reviews, constructability assessments, HAZOPs, and risk evaluations.
Troubleshoot complex design challenges, identify root causes, and implement practical engineering solutions.
Engage with site teams, operations, and leadership to ensure designs align with long-term operational goals.
Provide support in the field during equipment installation, FATs, commissioning, and handover.

Experience leading technical designs and managing vendors or third-party engineering teams.
Familiarity with industry standards: ASME, API, ANSI, CSA, ISO.
Proficiency with engineering software (AutoPIPE, Caesar II, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental considerations in design.
Experience in green energy, hydrogen, or ammonia production projects is a strong asset.
Bilingual in English and French preferred.
Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites or vendor locations.
