JV Administrator

Job Description

Our client, who is an oil/natural gas exploration and production company with operations focused in Central and Northern Alberta, is seeking a full time Joint Venture Administrator to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all Joint Venture administrative duties. An understanding of Joint Venture agreement and concepts is required. Strong communication and organization skills will be required to ensure successful completion of time-sensitive tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving all corporate non-operated AFEs and loading/uploading into the AFE system.

  • Responsible for the Joint Venture Operated and Non-Operated AFE process including administrating and managing internal/external communication for mail ballot and informational notices.

  • Responsible for Joint Venture electronic folder system document management which will include file scanning.

  • Responding to Accounting and Audit queries regarding contractual obligations.

  • Ongoing maintenance of Joint Venture agreements including communicating all revisions to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Revisions to Exhibits for Service Agreements, CO&O and Unit Agreements.

  • Special projects and other duties as required by the Joint Venture team.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of Joint Venture Administration experience in the oil and gas industry.

  • Petroleum Joint Venture Associations/ Joint venture administration certificate.

  • Working knowledge of AFE Execute, CS Land, Optix, Word and Excel.

  • An ability to work in a fast-paced and professional environment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent organization, planning and analytical skills.
