Account Executive - Vancouver

Our client is a Canadian SaaS company focused on helping cannabis retailers grow their online sales by simplifying operations and staying compliant in a regulated industry. Their platform integrates seamlessly with POS systems to sync inventory in real time, manage orders, handle payments, and support delivery and fulfillment. With built-in tools for SEO, live chat, marketing, and analytics, they help retailers remove friction, scale efficiently, and deliver a better customer experience.

They are seeking an Account Executive to drive sales growth through outbound prospecting, lead generation, and full-cycle deal management. This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing team, offering the opportunity to represent the company at trade shows and contribute directly to business expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, qualify, and follow up on inbound and outbound leads to build a strong pipeline

  • Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact through demo, negotiation, and close

  • Develop tailored outreach strategies via email, phone, and social channels

  • Collaborate with product specialists to deliver high-impact demonstrations

  • Represent the company at North American trade shows (travel required)

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline health, and forecast sales performance

  • Work closely with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign results

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Align with internal teams to ensure smooth client handoffs and customer success

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment

  • Proven success in outbound prospecting and full-cycle sales

  • Strong communication, research, and negotiation skills

  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot

  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven

  • Willingness to travel for trade shows and client meetings

  • Familiarity with cannabis retail or regulated eCommerce is a strong asset

  • Understanding of digital marketing or SEO best practices is a bonus

Compensation: $70,000 base salary + uncapped commission with on-target earnings (OTE) of approximately $2,000.
