Sales Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our client’s sales operations in Canada’s oil and gas sector. This role combines strategic planning, market analysis, and hands-on leadership to drive revenue and profitability within a high-performing and collaborative culture. The ideal candidate thrives in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and guiding the sales team to achieve ambitious targets. Responsibilities:

  • Creating sales goals and KPIs aligned with the company’s broader financial and strategic objectives.

  • Develop long-term sales strategies for the company’s products.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships. This could involve direct outreach, attending industry events, or working with technical teams to understand client needs.

  • Provide post-sale support, including troubleshooting, addressing inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction

  • Analyze sales data to predict future sales performance and adjusting strategies as necessary. Regularly reporting to senior leadership on sales metrics and progress toward targets. Annual, and updated quarterly forecasting.

  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure the feasibility and delivery of solutions for customers.

  • Partner with marketing team to develop promotional materials, technical brochures, and presentations that help communicate the value of the company’s offerings.

  • Provide training for sales teams on products, market trends, and sales tactics.

Requirements

  • Minimum ten years of related sales and business development experience

  • Strong understanding of downhole oilfield completions

  • Strong understanding of coil tubing operations, service rigs and other related services

  • Strong organizational and computer skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Experience in sales forecasting and budgeting

  • Strong leadership and personal relationship skills

  • Commitment to corporate goals

  • Familiar with an environment of rapid change and growth

  • Strategic mindset combined with a solid intuition for business and leadership skills
