Summary


Our client, a vertically integrated real estate company with national presence, is seeking an experienced National Director of Leasing & Marketing to lead strategy and performance across a growing portfolio of multifamily residential communities. including new developments, stabilized assets, and future launches. 

Based in Kelowna, this individual will shape the leasing approach, enhance brand recognition, and drive occupancy for both new developments and stabilized properties. including new developments, stabilized assets, and future launches. This role isn’t about filling vacancies — it’s about crafting connection, delivering results, and building a nationally recognizable brand that people are proud to call home. 

Reporting to the Vice President, Property Management, the Director be at the center of it all — translating construction timelines into lease-up strategies, building marketing campaigns that move the needle, and empowering leasing teams across the country to deliver top-tier performance and customer care. This role requires a strong blend of creativity, data-driven decision-making, and leadership to continuously improve performance and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute leasing strategies for both new lease-ups and stabilized communities 

  • Collaborate with Development, Finance, and Construction to align leasing goals with pro formas, turnover timelines, and financial targets 

  • Forecast leasing velocity, manage concessions, and support pricing strategies to maximize NOI 

  • Lead the brand narrative across all properties — digital, print, onsite, and in-market 

  • Build integrated campaigns that drive awareness, trust, and conversion — from social to signage 

  • Ensure all assets reflect a cohesive and polished brand voice, grounded in our values 

  • Mentor a high-performing team of leasing and marketing pros across multiple regions Support career growth, cross-training, and a shared commitment to results and resident experience 

  • Champion a high-accountability, high-care culture where performance and people go hand-in-hand 

  • Establish KPIs to monitor conversion rates, leasing velocity, and ROI on campaigns 

  • Track, report, and respond to leasing trends, optimizing strategy across communities 

  • Translate insights into actionable plans that boost performance and reduce vacancy loss 

  • Partner with internal stakeholders in Operations, Construction, and Development to ensure seamless execution 

  • Influence product design, amenity planning, and unit mix based on leasing performance and market intel 

  • Own the “handover moment” from construction to leasing to operations 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field 

  • 8+ years in multifamily leasing and marketing, with national or large-scale portfolio oversight 

  • 5+ years in a leadership role, mentoring teams and driving strategic outcomes 

  • Proven experience launching new developments and crafting successful lease-up campaigns 

  • Deep understanding of property management systems (Yardi, OneSite, etc.) and digital marketing platforms 

  • Strong eye for brand, message, and customer journey 

  • Confidence navigating data, budgets, and revenue forecasts 

  • A passion for people, process, and performance — in that order 

The salary range for this role is $145,000 - $160,000
